TVs were not the only appliances to have gained a new Mensa level. Perhaps more importantly, even home appliances are wising up. And that is important since life revolves so much around household chores.
Samsung, LG, Haier, Panasonic care going to smarten up their home appliances to make our lives simpler. These include refrigerators that will come with LCD touch panels and speakers that can play music at the tap of a button. They will also be connected to the internet Wi-Fi and can download recipes for you. Wait a minutes, these fridges are also smart enough to tell you which fruits or vegetables you are running out of and where to buy them from. Just in case you are preoccupied, they even send out SMS reminders to tell you to pick up the stock from the groceries.
On the other side are the washers and microwaves. Washing machines will select the best washing program according to the clothes you are putting in the machine. Some of them also come with Android-based touch panels for ease of use. Microwaves are no different. They also have touch screens that can show you videos of how to roast the poulet, bake a Black Forest cake or simply cook biryani. And they are smart enough to send out SMSes to tell you when your cake is baked.
